The NEO Smart offers the best in power and intelligence and is the quietest indoor trainer currently available on the market. The lack of any physical transmissions means this is the first true direct drive. Road feel is simulated in a highly realistic manner, there is no loss of power. The powerful motor is able to apply resistance up to 2200 Watt and simulate slopes realistically up to 25%. It also speeds up during descents. This ensures the most realistic cycling experience, also during climbs. 

The lack of any physical transmission, and in turn any parts that could rattle or rub against each other, ensures this trainer is extremely quiet. In addition, this trainer requires no calibration and suffers no wear and tear. Just like other Smart trainers, the NEO communicates using ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, allowing it to be connected quickly and easily with Tacx apps. Performance data can be viewed on several devices simultaneously, including your smartphone, bike computer and sports watch. Furthermore, the Tacx NEO features Plug in/Plug out technology and can therefore be used with and without a plug. When the plug is not in use, the trainer will act as a wireless motor brake. This means the trainer will be not be able to speed up during descents. The NEO represents the ultimate in ease of use.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and MasterCard card payments, and Paypal. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may call the shop and relay your card information via telephone. Your card must be registered to a standard address within your country of residency (not a PO Box for example).

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

If you place a deposit for an item in the shop, that deposit is non-refundable if you then decide not to purchase the item.  If the item is not reduced in value at the point at which you request a refund, we will, at our discression, return the deposit to you.  We are reasonable and will only choose to withhold your deposit for good reason.  This may include holding the product and being unable to sell it for an extended period of time; storage costs; the product losing it's value over this period for whatever reason.

Shipping And Handling Orders up to ?50 Ireland or Northern Ireland will incur a ?4.99 p+p charge. Orders above ?50 are delivered free of charge.

Orders outside of Ireland incur an extra shipping charge, depending on location and total cost.  We subsidise shipping as much as possible, whilst using reputable shipping companies to ensure the best and safest possible delivery to you.

Delivery Schedule

We despatch your order within 24 hours where items are in stock. Orders received before 11.30am that are in stock will be despatched on the same day.  We endeavour to despatch orders received before 2.30pm on the same day but cannot guarantee it.  Overnight delivery is used for Ireland and Northern Ireland.  48 hour delivery as standard to the UK mainland.  International orders are generally received in under 7 working days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from Ireland or the European Union, 23% VAT is included where applicable. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption and are stored at the server of Realex, a trusted, secure online payment company.  The Edge Sports Ltd does not receive your CC number.

Internet Pricing

As with many retailers, sometimes it is necessary for us to compete with online competition by reducing our online prices.  Thinking logically about it, an internet customer takes up virtually no time in the shop - you are not trying on different sizes (creating mess which has to be tidied by staff), often taking advice .etc. - a service we love providing but it still costs money!  We will endeavour to match internet prices in our shop but this cannot be guaranteed.  Similarly for the bike to work scheme, if a company is using a 3rd party voucher company (see our Bike2Work page) then we cannot match the sale price because we are not actually receiving the sale amount - we are receiving a lot less due to the commission taken.
