On April 2nd the annual Battle of Ballinspittle will take place.<\/p>\n

Once again Kinsale Triathlon Club (KTC) will be hosting the Battle of Ballinspittle Duathlon.\u00a0 For the second year in a row the event has been recognised as a leading event by TI (Triathlon Ireland) and has been added to the National series Duathlon calendar.<\/p>\n

As always one of the selling points of this event is that it is a great event for people who are new to the triathlon\/duathlon scene and are looking to see what it’s all about. This duathlon caters for competitors of every level.<\/p>\n

The course will remain the same as the last five years with a 3km road run, followed by a double 9km cycle loop (18km total cycle) and finished by a 5km trail run through Ballinspittle woods. A very scenic course which showcases some of the nicest spots in Ballinspittle.<\/p>\n
