You want an Electric Bicycle with a Low Step-Over that is easy to jump on and off ... No stretching a leg over a high tube - check out the bikes here for your next bike. These bikes vary in weight and handling depending on the motor. The Orbea Optima and Vibe uses a Mahle motor to be more similar in weight and handling to a traditional bicycle for example. These bikes do not have the same battery capacity (hence some weight saving) but they are intended to be used on lower assistance - and can be used on lower assistance because they are lighter. Bikes with a Bosch motor are heavier duty, weighing in at 22-24Kg generally, but can come with a very high battery capacity and are designed for higher levels of assistance generally (though we always recommend that you aim to get into good habits and only use the assistance when required, to the level that you need it).
