On April 2nd the annual Battle of Ballinspittle will take place.
Once again Kinsale Triathlon Club (KTC) will be hosting the Battle of Ballinspittle Duathlon. For the second year in a row the event has been recognised as a leading event by TI (Triathlon Ireland) and has been added to the National series Duathlon calendar.
As always one of the selling points of this event is that it is a great event for people who are new to the triathlon/duathlon scene and are looking to see what it’s all about. This duathlon caters for competitors of every level.
The course will remain the same as the last five years with a 3km road run, followed by a double 9km cycle loop (18km total cycle) and finished by a 5km trail run through Ballinspittle woods. A very scenic course which showcases some of the nicest spots in Ballinspittle.
