We love running and want to give you the best advice possible. We have been carrying out Video Gait Analysis since 2007. This is a help to provide further information to recommend suitable and most importantly comfortable running shoes for our customers, especially if you are not happy with your current shoes or wish to try a new shoe.
The Video Gait Analysis Service and following Shoe Recommendations and Fitting can take up to 30 minutes or so, but if you have never had it done, or are getting aches and pains with your current running shoes, it is definitely worthwhile.
During the analysis, we “shoe proof” with a new shoe, to watch your running form usually from the hips down. We also use a heat disc to check your foot arches, along with possibly checking foot flexibility.
This service is provided free when you buy a pair of running shoes, If you do not purchase a pair of shoes on the day then the cost of the service is €25. We would then refund this within 30 days if you return to buy a pair of shoes – so you are not under pressure to purchase a pair on the day.
