The following Technologies / Features make the Mizuno BE of:

1. Natural strips

The last is based on the human foot and, thanks to the wide toe box toes a natural range of motion. The heel is very rounded and held flat. This flatter foot strike is supported and moved similarly to the barefoot, the ground contact and thus the force approach closer to the center of the heel (forward). A key benefit of this is the better distribution of the load peaks.

2. DFC Fersenkappe

The heel of the Mizuno Be modeled on the fat pad of the foot below the heel and supports the natural damping of the foot. The heel of Be, however as seen above on the left image held flat and significantly reduced compared to conventional toe caps. Specific stability is characterized not to be expected.

3. Activation midsole

The midsole of Mizuno foot Rainers consists of AP + as it is used in most of Mizuno running shoes. The design is with 9: 3 mm very flat. Bursting with 6 mm low.

4. Footprint outsole

On the flat midsole also only a thin carbon rubber outsole was applied. This is consistent to the metatarsals, interrupted recess at the level of Waraji and then used again as a footprint as individual pads under each of the 5 toes.

5. Activation insole

The central element of the Mizuno Be the Activation insole has been developed based on the research of Waraji sandals. The insole is just before the toes at the level of the metatarsal flat (Wajaji well) and allows the toes by complete freedom of movement. The toes can grip properly as running barefoot when rolling similarly. This activates the leg and foot muscles and increases foot stability.

6. Weight

The weight of the shoe is 200 g in reference size US 9 (221 g in US 13) at the level of its competitors.

7. Shaft

The shaft is made of soft synthetic suede. On the inside of the shaft are only few seams and the material is so soft that the shoe can also be run barefoot. Additional mesh inserts in the forefoot provide ventilation.
